Printer crashes into workpiece(s) and prints all subsequent layers out of alignment w previous layers: how to verify/fix?

This machine has been having issues physically crashing into workpieces. Today it did it again, kept working (didn't knock the piece off the print bed) and managed to print all subsequent layers out of alignment. It passes all the self-tests, thinks it is square and level, but obviously it isn't. How can this be resolved?

I have the same issue since the Firmware Update to 3.13.1. A real solution I also do not have I disabled the Crash detection. New Problem is, that outgoing filament don't stop printing!
