Print Fun Error

For 4 months work (Prusa i3MK3) have problem, small, but no one is on sale (they are only for 12 / 24V), even the Prusa store.
And what we are now throwing out a good printer because of the fan for 1Euro.
It is a shame that the manufacturer does not sell spare parts for own products.
Similarly with the head fan, you can not buy it anywhere.
I wanted to buy a few more of them for the company, but now I'm starting to be scared, because every 4 months I will not buy a new one because of the fan for 1EU.
Can anyone help me??

I was able to buy spares for both the part cooling and Noctua cooling fans for my Prusa i3 Mk3 recently. The Noctua is out of stock at the moment, but they do come back into stock. Buying spares before you need them is always a good idea, especially for a company.

Hi Maciej,

the problem is most likely a wire broken between the back of the extruder carriage and the einsy case.

if you patch out the wires, for the fan, using flexible wire and heat shrink tubing ove soldered joints, you should be printing again in about half an hour!

I now this, but Prusa in ouer shop have nothing 🙁
In attachment parts sale for Prusa Shop, it is sad and pathetic.

This printer it's very good, but without spare parts it's like a car without tires and brake pads.

I sent an inquiry to them through the website, but no one had the time to answer or have a policy to sell and forget. It is a pity because you can quickly break a good brand. The Polish seller has been silent like a producer for several days.

I have already done it 🙂 I managed to fix it without any problems, of course without the help of the Prusa reseller, because this one further determines what the problem is. Unfortunately, the fan seems strange unpleasant sounds, testifying to the problem with the bearings, that's why I am looking for another one, for now without success. Because, as you can see, the Prusa network can only sell, there is nothing to count on their help 🙁

MacieJ,

You must Sign In on the shop page and then the options for the MK3 will be available. All parts are showing as In Stock except for the Noctua Fan and the Spring Steel beds.

Re: Print Fun Error

The fans are plain bearing fans. So if its making a noise. consiider taking the sticker off the fan hub. And putting a couple of drops of oil in there. Then put the label back...

I managed to find ball bearing fans for my mk2... maybe you can find ball bearing fans for your printer.

Re: Print Fun Error
