PRINT FAN ERROR
I have a almost one year old MK3 and got PRINT FAN ERROR. There is nothing blocking the fan as I can start and stop it from the meny. There are no cable problems as I can start the fan in all positions. I updated the software, but the problems remain, I have tried different slicer programs with the same result. I have contacted Prusa with no responce. Sorry to say but Prusa has the worst after market service I ever have experienced, I wonder if the environment is to cold as my garage is below 10 degrees for the momen, but I had the same issue last summer. Is there anybody who can advice me, please?

Most likely a cable fault. mine broke a wire where the cable is supported just at the back of the extruder head. it would work fine but as the z axis raised it would break contact. could only find it by bending the cable with the fan on. the break was at a fold point which as done from the manufacture. Check my post on it about a year ago

did you email prusa, or did you engage in online chat.
I usually find online chat, very effective
there are three wires to your fan, if the tacho wire has broken or gone high resistance on the connector, you could have the fan running, but the einsy usable to see the feedback...

If the part you are printing has a large number of very small bridges, you may get this error. In a typical profile, the fan is supposed to speed up during bridges and slow down during non-bridge zones. But the fan speed can't change instantly. If it's being sped up and slowed down often, it's possible for the firmware check on the fan speed to get confused and report an error. In that case, the solution is to go into the slicer and set the fan speed to the same speed for all parts of the print.
