Print Failing a Few Layers into Print - Temp issue?
Hello,
I've been running my Prusa MK3s+ for about a year and a half. Recently it showed symptoms of a clog. Mid print it would stop feeding. I assumed a clog, did a cold pull, found no signs of a clog. Still the same issue persisted. This is all using PLA. I switched to new rolls to rule out it being a filament issue. I also tried different files to rule out a file issue. Still the same result.
I recently purchased a new hot end assembly. I have attempted 2 different prints, 2 different rolls of PLA I have tried, and 2 different files and the same result.
A few layers into the print it goes fine. Then slowly I can hear a click in the extruder gears. The clicking gradually increases, and then the nozzle stop feeding. It's like the hot end is losing temp but the display screen does not indicate this.
Checking the spacing in the hot end assembly, it appears to be correct?
I am not sure what to do.
First dry your filament. Come back if the problem persists.
Cheerio,
