Preheat bed error
My Prusa i3 M3 Kit printer is reporting a Bed preheat error. I have checked the heatbed and the heatbed thermistor is properly seated.
I have also performed the test applying heat to the heatbed and hotend, which resulted in rising temperatures on the LCD screen for both the nozzle and heatbed.
Upon further inspection, I think I have found the problem. There is a shorted cable attached to the Einsy Board. It the second cable from the PSU marked as (B=|B-) on page 16/30 Chapter 8: Electronic Assembly.
The positive cable was loose and upon removal there is a burn mark on the connection and the screw. (See attached pics).
Note, the printer does turn on and the only thing affected is the heatbed.
I have reported this to support. Has anyone had this issue or know what to do to fix i? I have only had the printer for a month.
