PLA not printing.

Bit of a funny one. My printer is flawless on PETG but when I put PLA in it, any brand, it will print for a while then stop extruding the PLA. Any clues? This has only started very recently.

Here are some photos of today.

I did one job earlier and was fine and then started another one with the same settings and it did the brim and then started on the first layer, then stopped extruding but kept going as if it was fine.... ?

RE: PLA not printing.

have you changed the left hand fan recently?

Is the ambient temperature high?

is the printer in an enclosure?

you may be suffering heat creep.

I had these symptoms after I changed the left hand (Cool end) Fan.
I was able to resolve the issue by adjusting the fan, in the experimental menu

however, over the winter I found that the room ambient temperature rose due to the solid fuel burner, and heat creep returned...

Similarly if people print PLA in an enclosure, they are likely to suffer heat creep
