PLA blob of death - need to replace thermistor, heater bock, etc.
I had a catastrophic failure with PLA blob around the hotend. I screwed up fixing it and damaged the thermistor leads as well as the cartridge leads.  I now need to replace the heat break, heat block, thermistor, and cartridge.  Do you know if the following will work with MK3S/MMU2S?  (I tried to use an Amazon replacement from when I had an Anet A8 but that keeps blowing fuses so I'm guessing I need the "real" replacement for the MK3S.)  Thank you!

Sorry to hear that. It happens pretty often. Usually you can scrap the heat break and heater block. Just use a heat gun or any heat source to bring it up to ~60-100C temperature. You should be able clean up everything.

So you should only need a new heater cartridge and thermistor. I prefer printed solid over matterhackers but both should do the job:

Remember that if you have the MMU that the heat  break us not the same as the default one from e3d... Where you can get the prusa specific one I don't know though. Without MMU the normal heat break is fine, possibly even better then the prusa modified version.
