petg not in g-code filename....
I have recieved my first shiny roll of prusament pet-g (in fact pet-g ever!) and have followed all the appropriate guidance on cleaning etc
first print, an xyz calibration cube, however before hitting send, i noticed that the filename for the g-code did not contain the PETG, but instead referenced PLA, see the attached. I have set up extruder 3 as petg, see attached, but im not sure why it has not given the name correctly in the filename.
Question is, do i trust the sllicer to send the code along with the temperatures correctly, or have i missed something
TIA

RE: petg not in g-code filename....
Don't have an MMU but it probably just uses whatever is assigned to filament 1. As an experiment set the first one to a PETG ad try again.
RE: petg not in g-code filename....
Under Print Settings->Output options->Output file, I see:
{input_filename_base}_{layer_height}mm_{filament_type[0]}_{printer_model}_{print_time}.gcode
Under Filament Settings->Advanced->Filament properties->Filament type for the Prusament PETG MMU2 profile I see PETG set for filament_type, so it should use the right type.
Not using an MMU myself, but it looks like you need to set a filament type for each path. Only slot 0 (the 1st presumably) is used to derive filament_type[0] in the filename. You do have PLA profiles selected for the all but the 3rd, so that explains the filename mismatch. Spend some time in preview to verify the right filament type is selected for each color.

RE: petg not in g-code filename....
yeah, thanks guys, i exported the gcode to file rather than octoprint, and had a look with notepad ++, the temps seem to match (if i am reading the file properly)
it would be nice if the name of the file was generated based on the extruder number rather than the first entry - which, as mentioned is what i think is happening
anyway, it seems to be printing and more importantly sticking so ill let it run its course on my "first of many" and see what happens
