Orca slicer- can I use MK3S configuration for my MK3?
Hi, I have the standard MK3 and I want to try out the Orca slicer with it. It doesn't have a selection for the standard MK3 but it has one for the MK3S. Can I use that to slice for my MK3?
RE: Orca slicer- can I use MK3S configuration for my MK3?
probably. The MK3 will pause at start saying: "This was made for other printer, do you want to continu?"
We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.

Sounds good, I'll give it a try. What's the worst that can happen? Thanks a lot.

You are triggering my imagination:
The worst I can think off:
- You will get on the first page of the local newspaper because, there was an explosion in your home. And parts of it landed on the local town hall.
- A little Frankenstein is printed on the sheet and it says "hello" when you check it.
- The printer stops printing and never starts again.
- mmmmm
More realistic:
- the print is not run and stops with an error.
- it is misplaced on the plate a bit.
- maybe some printing errors
- the g-code also holds the settings for filament, temps, that might give differences, to the profile you are used to.
That is about it. I have a MK2.5S and run MK3(S(+)) code on it. Besides the message never seen a problem
We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.

Thanks much. Really it would be pretty cool if I printed a talking Frankenstein, huh? I'll try it on a couple of my usual settings and see if anything weird happens.
