Nozzle temp does not match octoprint setting.
I set up a print in octoprint, using PETG. I set the temp to 240. I load the print, start it, and the nozzle temp reduces to 160. I have to manually go in and raise it back up to 240 on the printer itself. I just yesterday did a FULL reset on the printer itself and octoprint. Installed from scratch. I'm not sure what's going on here or what information you need but I'll be happy to provide it. For reference, I am on the latest version of octoprint and the latest firmware for my MK3. Thank you!

More pertinent information- I'm on a Pi4b+, my printer is going on 3 years old and I've NEVER had an issue, I do regular maintenance and I have it in an enclosure.

Can you post a copy of your original Gcode please? You will need to Zip Compress the Gcode so that the forum will accept the Compresed Gcode.
I suspect you are running a version of 'Anti Dribble' Start Gcode

I believe thats exactly what I was running. My onjective was to keep the nozzle from dripping so much before tha print started but this is just a PITA.GCode.txt
I assumed resetting the entire printer to new would alleviate the problem, it was bugging me so much. Thank you, Joan- Thank you a million times for your help.

I think I may have figured it out. I simply went back into printer settings and reset the gcode to factory. I'll know here in a few minutes after a test print.

Well, The problem seems to have come back. This is after a clean install of octoprint, and I did not reload a backup. I set everything up in prusaslicer, and since I was using PETG, I set the hotend for 240 degrees. When I hit print in octoprint, it immediately reset it to 160 degrees. I changed it in octoprint, but then had to mqanually change it back on the printer after the calibration. It's driving me nuts, I've never had a problem like this.

Your printer configuration in Prusa slicer is set to do a no ooze start routine. Looks like the bobstro sequence from the comments and is what many of us use in one form or another. This is where it preheats to 160 degrees or similar before it does the bed levelling so that you don’t get deposits of filament left on the bed at the probe points. After it has done levelling it will heat up to the proper temperature for the filament.
So your printer is doing exactly what it’s supposed to be doing with the gcode you are generating.
If you don’t want it to do that then you will need to modify the printer profile you are using in Prusa slicer to remove the relevant lines.

So even though the nozzle preheats to 160, it will stop and preheat to 240 after it does the bed leveling?

It depends on what your start gcode says. If you’re using one of the no-ooze variants, that’s exactly what it should do. You can read through the ‘start gcode’ under the ‘Printers’ tab in PS. You can also copy that text block and paste it here so others can better help.
Let the machine run through the bed leveling routine and see what happens. If the temp doesn’t change before printing begins you can always hit the ‘eject’ button.
