Noise on the X axis
Hi there,
recently had the problem that my Prusa i3MK3S makes a noise on the X axis! It is a whistling or squeaking.
Does anyone have any idea what that might be?

Check your X axis bearings - and the idler.
Power off and move the extruder both directions. Do you feel any binding?
For a temporary fix, you might try a light oil on the rod. This is not a replacement for packing the bearings with grease.
Also, the bearing mounts on the extruder might be too tight. Try loosening them a bit.

In such cases, a video could be very helpful. I bet on the bearings..
