No public alpha for 2.3.0 release?

Some time ago, I saw the live where the many interesting news of the new 2.3.0 were shown.
I expected to find public alpha versions for betatesting as in previous releases, but this was not the case.
Is there no plan to release "publbic" alpha for betatesting this time?

Alpha version is already tagged. But no binary is released to public. Based on the commits after the tag, I assume it's not ready for public yet.

"Alpha-0"  sources are available from May 5th; being practically August, it seemed strange to me not to see the release of any binary yet

I'm aware that it takes time, but ... Ironing, Monotone Infill and "Paint support" are such great features :)

Just like Christmas... Good things take time, and this is a major feature upgrade. I know they'll be very reluctant to release a version with blatant bugs, so I'm sure there's a lot of testing going on.
