No Power

I have my filament spool mounted on a wall above the printer. The filament got tangled and would no longer run off the spool.  The printer was pulling the filament so hard that it actually lifted itself off the table (seems there should be a safety for that). When I discovered this there was no power. I checked the 3 fuses in the wiring box and all are good. How do I check the power supply? Is there a schematic for that? Is there a reset button inside the power supply?

RE: No Power

The power supply should be outputting 24 volts.  Also, the power cord is notorious for not being fully seated and giving the symptom of no power.  Check that your power cord is fully inserted into the power supply receptacle.  this is the most likely case since the printer was lifted off of its feet.

Before I created this post I unplugged and plugged the power cord at least a dozen times. Turned the switch on and off a dozen times. And now for some unknown reason the printer comes to life with a message "a power outage has occurred, continue with print, 'yes/no'". Beats me.

Gods are smiling

Oh nice.  It means the power supply is back working and the plug finally seated 🙂
