No longer detecting SD Card while on
So I've been using MK3 for a few days then one day it suddenly decided to stop reading SD cards while printer is ON. No firmware change or settings, it simply stop detecting when inserting an SD card. The only way to go around this is to turn off the printer, insert SD Card then turn it back on and it will read it.
Any idea what's causing this and how to fix it? I tried turning FlashAir setting thinking that it might reset the SD function but no luck. I'm using the standard SD card, tried with another one too but same thing.

First try reseating both ends of the LCD ribbon cables. They may have gone high resistance.
If this doesnt work, Have a word with Chat. The socket on the LCD might be faulty

I had similar problems. Prusa replaced the console and all is well. While I was waiting, I tried putting a layer of blue painters tape on the back of the sd card. That also worked. Must have been a defective sd socket.

look if the SD slot is clean. i had some plastic from an old sd card stuck in there and the printer wouldn't read the cards.

It's not about not reading cards at all. It reads cards only when printer starts then it stops reading if I take out and insert it again. I have to turn it off, insert card and start in order to have my files updated.
