New hotend, PID Tuning won't complete.

I replaced the stock hotend with a Trianglelab CHC hotend. It has a 50W heater and a 104GT thermistor which is the same as the stock thermistor I believe. When I start a PID tune, it goes for about a second and then the heater turns off. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this issue.

the stock heater is 40 watts, is there an error message when the heater turns off?

You might be falling foul of Thermal Anomalies... which could be due to the 5owatt heater.

Like Joan said the stock heater is 40 w a 50 w needs more power to heat up to the same temp. Or it will take alot longer. Because of this the printer thinks there could be a thermistor problem and it shuts the heater down. Just to confirm it reads room temprature ok.

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

RE:

It does give a thermal anomaly error when I use the preheat setting. Slice Engineering offered a 50W mosquito for the MK3S, so I figured it should work. I saw the other post right next to this one that seems to be in regards to the same issue, so I'll try downgrading the firmware to 3.13.1. I'll let you know how it goes.

Edit: Same problem on 3.13.1

Yep, thermistor temp is correct at ambient.

I was able to run a PID tune on 3.11.1. Ill see if I'm able to send these values over after upgrading back to 3.13.2, but if not I'm glad the machine works!
