Need source for MMU2s and MK3s Festo fittings
RE: Need source for MMU2s and MK3s Festo fittings
Hi! I am in the US too and could not find the exact match anywhere, although they probably exist. None of the ones I had fit. 🙂 I finally ordered mine from the prusa store (log in to see the spare parts list). I think they are about $3.50 each or so.
An alternate would be to print new parts that take the M10 fitting - much easier to find.

I must be crazy because I did not see them in the spare parts category of the Prusa store.
EDIT: I clicked on Mk3/Mk3s and they did not appear. I just check spare parts for all the categories and there they are.
Thank you for replying. It made me find them in the store at least 🙂

I ordered one labeled "qsm-m5-4" on amazon and there was no way filament could pass through it. So I either got the wrong things from the seller or Prusa has something just a tad different. I finally ordered from the prusa shop just to be sure. 🙂

You need to be signed in, and look in the MMU2 Spars section

Those are only for the MMU2s, so probably would not show up for MK3s. Just a guess! 🙂

They take the same fitting, so that's why I never thought to check another category. Oh well. I'm going to take a chance on an order from amazon so I can get it faster. If I find some that work out I'll post it here in case it helps someone else.

I think both of your links may be correct. I'm going to try a set of the PC4-M5 fitting from amazon. A lot of them do not share what the ID of the threaded part is. I'll share the link if I find some that work.
Thank you.
RE: Need source for MMU2s and MK3s Festo fittings
I ordered the ones in the link below.
After having to reorder them because the first order was "undeliverable" on the expected delivery date, I was able to give them a try.
I noticed the filament was having issues occasionally being loaded/unloaded and I finally realized the inner diameter of the threaded part was more narrow than the original fitting. I ended up using my drill and increasing the diameter with a 7/64" drill bit (started with 3/32" first) and now the filament is flowing through with no resistance. This only takes a minute or two to perform.
If you try this, make sure to wear eye protection and make sure the surface is smooth inside the fitting.
I'm happy now and these are lot cheaper than the alternative.
If you don't mind taking the extra step to make them work, you can give these a go if you don't have another source.
