Must print very hot (260c for PLA)
I have a MK3S, and I have been having heat issues. I'm guessing something isn't registering quite accurately. I am using Prusa brand PLA. I have to get the not end up to about 250c to even load it, and it prints perfectly at a setting of 260c. I've tried multiple spools of PLA filament, always to similar results. I don't think the thermistor is bad because it holds temp consistently and always passes the temp calibration.
Any thoughts or advice?

I would say you have a partial clog. Have you tried a cold pull?

That could be the problem. I did a cold pull a couple of weeks ago, and it didn't seem to fix the problem. I'll give it another try.

Do a cold pull and post an image of the tip.

I did a cold pull last night, and I didn't think to save the tip, but there was some discoloration and uneven shape. You made a good call about the partial clog. It actually turned out to be pretty substantial. In the end I changed the nozzle because I couldn't get it all out. With the new nozzle, it's printing great at about 210c. Thank you for the help!

I had a similar issue with a clog on my Mini+. I cranked the temp up to 280 and shoved a bunch of filament through as fast as it would take it. Then did 4 or 5 cold pulls. Probably not the best way to do it but it worked for me.
