MK3S was working fine, now crashing

I have been printing fine for months, but just last night, my print failed with the following being displayed:

Restarting the printer resulting in a MINTEMP error:

Since then, restarting and trying to print anything results in the printer crashing again and the above cycle repeating.

What could be the problem?

Are  you using Octoprint?

that probably explains the gibberish on the screen.

Knowledge base if your friend.

Check the bedthermistor. The bed shows the values 0/0 on the lcd screen. Maybe a broken wire.

Hi

I had the same problem.

I followed the knowledge base procedure (mentioned above) and placed an ohmmeter at the end of the thermistor wire, on the Rambo card side.
By moving the wire, I noticed variations in resistance and identified the problem on the colored part.

I cut the thread just before the exit and removed 5 to 6 cm. I soldered another end of wire instead and put heat shrink tubing (especially on the part that goes under the arrival of the supply wires of the heating plate)
Since then, it works again.

@jean34

I claim that 99% of the MINTEMP error is caused by a thermistor or wire defect of any kind. So the first i would check is the thermistor or the wires, no matter if bed or nozzle.
