MK3S vertical patterns on walls

Hi All,

Looking for a bit of advice regarding some vertical banding and texturing I'm seeing on my Mk3S. Printing the same object on my Ender3 Pro, I don't see the vertical banding, just the layer lines as I'd expect.
The belts seem to have the correct tension and everything else seems to be as per the build manual.

The picture shows the difference between the Ender(left) and the Prusa(Right). It's not a totally fair test as these particular prints were sliced in Cura(Ender) and PrusaSlicer(MK3s), but are indicative of the results I see when using the same settings.

Any ideas where I should start to iron this out?
I much prefer most things about the Prusa, apart from the print quality unfortunately. I was hoping it would be at least as good as the Ender.

Cheers, Matt

Ender on the left, Prusa on the right.

Looks to me as if your Ender has ghosting near the bottom of the print (curved ridges). This is usually caused be vibration. Slow down your print speed, check your belts and make sure the table the printer is on is not wobbly.

Looks like the Prusa slicer is not giving you a thick enough outer wall. What you are seeing is the interior infill. Increase the number of layers in your walls.

Compare the settings in Cura and PrusaSlicer for wall thiickness.

Thanks for the recommendations. I hadn't considered that.

PrusaSlicer was set to 2 perimeters, so I'll increase it to 3 or 4 and see what happens.
Although it looks like the Cura for the Ender was also set to 2.
