MK3S (upgrade from MK3) close contact between X carriage and heat bed connector screw
Hey good people,
I just finished the MK3S upgrade from MK3, and I notice a small problem that I, at the moment, not sure how to deal with. The X carriage is different on the new MK3S extruder design, and overall the clearance between the one middle protruding screw on heat bed and the heater (red) cables on the bottom of the X carriage are pretty non-existent, no matter how I do the cable management (see pictures, and please note I removed some of the zip ties while debugging the issue, before that the zip ties where put on as per assembly instructions).
Does anyone else has this problem? Should I try to use a shorter screw on the connector, that would make the cable only brush against the connector possibly? It's not a huge issue, however the cable is definitely scratched during calibration (4th point).
Thanks for you advices.

your cables do not appear to be seated in the slot in the bottom of the carriage meant for them. they should almost sit flush with the bottom of the carriage when in this slot.
But yes, you can replace it with an M3x8mm screw and it will sit flush.

I know it's hard to see on the pictures, but they are going in the channel. The problem is that the channel for these is pretty narrow, and I really don't want to force them too much or pull on them, since they are sensitive. Will try to push them in a little more and to use a smaller screw then, thank you for your input.

It definitely feels that way, the outer sleeving is very "puffed" up though and there is some squish to get them to fit properly. But I agree it's not immediately obvious or easy.
