MK3S+ Print job does not start with heated bed ON.

MK3s+.  Printer is perfect through all the calibration steps except print. All print jobs ether tests from original SD card, or fresh gcode from scratch all done in prusa slicer on MK3S+ 0.4 mm profile, no difference.  As soon as print job starts  and bed verification is completed, printer draws a test line in the front of the bed sheet, then moves to print position and just hangs up there , indefinitely.  No errors, nothing.  I found a recommendation to disable bed heating (Tuneup - Bed heating- Turn to zero during print job warmup) and print job starts (not every time though).  Bed appears to heat up properly , holding setpoint, etc. so there is no short in the bed . that is for sure.  I wonder if anyone has any recommendations. But it looks like forum is quite dead.

It *might* be a poor connection at either end of the wiring loom or even a cracked conductor but first consider that several, perhaps eight, years of use may have worn the SD socket contacts - it's actually less likely but much easier to test and perhaps fix.

Is this the original SD?  Try cleaning the contact strips with IPA and a cotton bud. Try with a different card - also try cutting a small piece of label or stamp paper and stick it to the back of the card, not the side with the contacts - if either the card or the socket have worn all these can improve the electrical connection.

If this works then replacing the worn socket is not too difficult for someone with a little soldering skill.

Thank you for a  reply. My Prusa has only like 3 days of lifetime printing . There is no wear.  Here is what I have noticed : every time print stops (doesn't start) the SD card content disappears, it is not visible anymore. It shows up again when I press X and Prusa "reboots".  I tried padding SD card with tape on one side to make it snug  , it is very tight and there is 100% contact.  I will try to use another SD card, will pickup on my way from work today. The card is formatted FAT32 and there are no special characters in print files. I tried to use only one file at the time, it doesn't help.
