MK3S Passes axis selftest on MK3 firmware but fails on MK3S firmware.
I recently rebuilt my MK3S printer and replaced the filament sensor cable using parts ordered from Prusa. I don't get very far into the Selftest as the printer fails when checking the Y Axis; Please check axis length Y.
Here are a few of the things I have tried to fix the issue: regreased linear bearings, loosened off u-bolts, re-tensioned Y belt, confirmed there are no wires/zip ties in the way, and confirmed I have a 16T pulley.
The interesteing part of this all has been that after a Y axis rebuild, I mistakenly loaded MK3 firmware onto the printer and was able to get all the way through the Selftest until checking the IR/filament sensor.
I'm stuck on where to go from here?

By any chance did you try installing the latest firmware. If you did try flashing again but with the firmware 13.3 for the MK3s.
RE:
same here, ...also filament load gone in menu...i don't want to use the sensor....i want to put back software, but do i have to calibrate again...? installed the version: 3.14.0

Hi Asus,
I have just tried your suggestion. The printer fails the self test on Y-axis using both 3.14.0 and 3.13.3 firmware.

I wound up going to version 3.11 and re calibrate then upgrade to 3.13 and calibrate. I do not feel confident that 3.14 will work so not going to do it. Since it is all working now.
