MK3S hotend Mod

I would like to replace the part cooling fan on my MK3S with a Noctua fan identical to the one for cooling the hot end. They both appear to be three wires. Is there anything on the motherboard? That would be damaged Or not work properly With a mod like this For example, would one fan pull more power and burn up the motherboard?

They appear to be the same voltage 5v, so I'm wondering if there's any reason why I shouldn't do this.

I'm also not sure where the best place to put this question is, so if this is the wrong spot, please let me know

A print fan is supposed to be a blower fan that will blow more concentrated air through a smaller hole. A Noctua Fan is good for cooling large areas without high concentration. If you did decide to use a Noctua for your print fan, you would probably have to use a very large custom fan duct and would likely end up in poorer prints due to less cooling.

That makes sense Thank you so much. I am trying to completely redesign the fan shroud to get better clearance from the nozzle because whenever my prints start to warp they hook on the current fan shroud and get ripped off the build surface. I have attached a photo to what I'm thinking Do you think it will work?

Here's a cutaway image of the shroud idea I was thinking about ?dl=0

So, you might consider the Delta P fan shroud mod, and if you want better cooling than that, LDO makes a fan that supposedly has higher output than the Prusa one that should fit the same.

But to solve the immediate problem, a better approach might be to fix whatever is causing your prints to warp in the first place.

Wow, thank you. I never heard of that mod before, I had tried looking for Alternative fan shrouds, but hadn't found anything.

it only seems to warp on large thin prints i assumed it probably has to do with the temperature in my Room but my troubleshooting skills aren't phenomenal.

Yeah I had a similar problem with some long, thin PLA prints, and turning up the heat in my garage a little helped mitigate it considerably.
