MK3S+ Firmware crashing on some prints
I have an MK3S+ with MMU3 which I recently upgraded to the latest firmware (MK3S 3.13.3 and MMU3 3.0.2) and I successfully printed a small object and when I tried a print of five instances of the same object, the firmware reset and so the print stopped in the middle. By accident I started a different print (I thought I was printing the single object again, but that's on a different SD card) which I had printed in the past, and the firmware crashed again. I reloaded the firmware again and tried the five instance file again, and the firmware reset again, this time a little farther along the print.
I'm going to try to print the single instance again, just to confirm that it prints, but I'd appreciate any clues about how to proceed so I can do larger prints. Could it be a bad SD Card or something like that?

Is it the firmware crashing or is it hardware causing a safty trigger to reset. If its the firmware the printer will beep and say crash detected logs available for support if it just resets then you have other problems. A video would help.
Many thanks

RE: MK3S+ Firmware crashing on some prints
I think it said "firmware crash" once. However, the last few times it's just restarted. I'm not going to post a 20 minute video just so you can see there's no message, but I watched it last time and there was no message, it just restarted.
It sounds like a safety trigger. What sorts of things can cause the safety triggers to start going off?

Hmm can you go to firmware 3.13.0 and the associated mmu firmware,

RE:
Oops didint mean to click go. Then try 8t just to rule out software issues, other wise its probbly a short somwhere did the single instance print again? Bad sd card can make the firmware crash restart but not restart without an error

RE: MK3S+ Firmware crashing on some prints
Yesterday, I tried the single print. (It's an end cap for some welding rod.) It failed partway through, with the same symptoms: It just restarted with no apparent message.
I had left the printer alone after it reset yesterday, except for unloading the filament and trimming the end. When I went up to the printer this morning, it was showing a message to the effect that there had been a firmware crash. I don't know if it just takes a while to show the message or if there had been an actual crash overnight.
Taking your suggestion, I downgraded the firmware (to 3.13.2 on the printer) and successfully printed the multipart print. Then, I upgraded to 3.13.3 and the printer reset again when trying the single part print.
Would you like me to try to gather some information about the reset? If so, I'll need some guidance.

Ok so all errors must be firmware related and not hardware, report a bug here https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware and explain everything. (If you dont want to/have an account let me know and ill add a bug for you) many thanks

RE: MK3S+ Firmware crashing on some prints
Awesome! Thank you.
I'm glad it's not just me. I'll get the logs as soon as I can. I'm kinda time constrained during the week.
