Min Bed Error

A week or so ago I came in and saw that the printer was saying "Min bed temperature fixed, restart printer".  Wiggled wires around and sure enough I had an intermittent issue with the heat bed thermistor.  I narrowed it down to a section of wire that seemed to be the problem, and cut it out. Sure enough the wires were broken, so I soldered in a replacement section.  After doing so, no amount of wiggling would make the bed temperature waver. Problem solved, so I thought.  However, I have since then had two more times when a print died with the "Min bed temperature fixed, restart printer" issue.  However, this time no amount of wiggling of wires and connectors have any effect on the temperature reading, and I can't find any sign of an intermittent connection issue.  Any ideas? Could there somehow be a software cause for this?  Unfortunately the printer will not recover from this error, and I'm doing large prints, so I'm wasting a tremendous amount of filament (and time) every time this happens.  Thoughts?

RE: Min Bed Error

My printer is in a caravan at the moment.
If I run a print it is likely that after the print completes (At night)
the ambient temperature in the caravan will fall below 15C, at some stage this will trigger the Min Temp, or Mintemp Bed error.
simply because the ambient temperature is below the trigger temperature.
could low ambient temperature be the cause of your problem?

I use 16AWG Flexible, Silicone insulated wire to replace my heat bed wires,  these last longer than the prusa wires in a flexing situation.

I've had that happen before, but that's not the case here.  First, it's not that cold, and second this is happening in the middle of a print when the bed is something like 90C.

It's possible to find the fault in the heating plate. If the internal resistance is not correct, the system will no longer be able to regulate the desired (higher) temperature.

What is strange is that it is for the most part working properly.  It is reading the correct temperature, it is properly regulating the bed.  But just for a brief period in a print it sometimes drops for a second as if there were an open circuit on the thermistor.  Of course this ruins the print.  And I did before have a fracture on the wire which I fixed, and no matter how much wiggling the wire and moving the bed around, I can't see any changes in the recorded temperature. This makes me wonder if it is some kind of glitch, but now it has happened two times out of my last four prints.

RE: Min Bed Error

Does the problem also occur with the latest firmware and at lower bed temperatures (e.g. 60 degrees C.)?
