Max temp error, then blank screen, now printer stops while printing.
Long story short. 1.5 weeks back I got a max temp error while I was printing over night. I had tried restarting the print in the am, and had got maybe 12 layers or so in and then the print failed and the machine started having a bit of a blank flashing screen? Turning off and on wouldn't restart the machine.
Waited a few days and had tried another print. It didn't give a blank screen or error but just quit printing. I had googled the max temp showing as a possible thermister problem. So I had taken the voltmeter out to try to measure resistance across the hotend and heatbed thermisters. Both were okay. So I had tried another print today.
It made it about 3 layers in then stopped printing. The display had shown the prusa i3 mk3 with a few dots below it. Almost like it was loading something? After that it went back to the main status display and the temperature on the extruder and bed just lowered as if the print was done. The extruder was sitting there pretty much where it stopped.
When I checked the last print failures I'm not seeing anything beyond 0 counts so it's like the machine froze on its own and had reset without registering anything.
I had updated the firmware software on the printer and the slicer before the initial printing a couple weeks back.
Just feel lost on where to look to try to solve this one, any help would be appreciated.

I was using pla set to 215 with a bed temp of 60 C. I had been using these settings pretty much since I started using the printer. I hadn't used it in a few months before one successful 10 hour print prior to the first failure.

posibbly the thermostat wires may of shorted

I can, just give me a second. Are the thermostat wires different than the thermisters? I had checked the thermisters but that was the wiring on the thermisters themselves, not on the board side.

they are the same but on the board there are things that can fry and if you look close enough somtimes you can see theme thats why a photo so i can see the board and also do you have a multi meter

turn on multimeter to measure resistance it needs to be set to the lowest range which includes 20Ω

Thermisters is 121.3 kohms

I had checked that and the bed one as well. I'm assuming you were meaning to measure on the wires and not on the board?
