Material Dripping from back end of Heaterblock (MK3S+)

Hi, sorry if this is a redundant topic, but I could not find it anywhere else.

There is filament collecting at the end of the heater block. Eventually it builds up to an extend where it interferes with the heatbed.

This occurred some time after I changed the nozzle (original Prusa 0.4 to Original Prusa 0.4 according to instructions, not my first change).

Normally I would just replace the heater block and the entire hotend, but Prusa seems to no longer sell those spare parts (??).

Does anybody have an idea on how to solve this w/o spare parts?

Thx, Oliver

Did you pay particular attention to the diagrams at the bottom of this page:

Yes. As mentioned I have changed the nozzle (successfully) before. I did, however, check both nozzle and heat block and found that the heat block was not perfectly straight. Not sure if that has any relevance but I adjusted it and check the result currently on a 20h print. Hopefully that was the issue (although I don't really understand it). I am still rather worried that there seems to be no more spare parts available from Prusa...

One other remote possibility - if you didn't get your nozzles direct from Prusa or E3D then there are 'clone' nozzles available with threads about a millimetre too short for correct fixing.

Cheerio,

I was afraid of that, hence my nozzles are always Prusa genuine parts.
