Loud Clicking During Filament Replacement
Hello Prusa Community,
I am experiencing a loud clicking noise while attempting to load filament. The problem started after I unloaded some filament which took a very (very!) hard pull to release the filament (I attempted the pull after starting the release filament protocol and waited until I was prompted by the LCD screen to pull). Now, when I try to load filament, it does not load and I can hear a loud clicking noise.
Apologies... even though I built my i3 mk3 s+ a little over a year ago by myself, I am not a "power user" nor am I overly familiar with all the interior parts and their functions.

this happened to me yesterday. just as you described. your nozzle is plugged.
I was able to unplug mine by heating up the nozzle and using a pair of pliers to force the filament though the nozzle. if that does not work you will either need to manually unplug the nozzle or you will need to change nozzles.

There is a good chance you have snapped off the tip of the filament somewhere in the hotend causing a block - but by the sound of it the block is not in the melt zone...
As it clicks the extruder grinds a half moon shape out of the filament.
Measure the distance from the end to the half moon, this is the distance from the gripping point to the blockage, use it to determine where the problem is and hence what the best solution might be.
Cheerio,

Thank you. It was definitely a simple clog and after opening access to the extruder and turning off auto load, I heat the nozzle up and was able to pull the gunk causing the stop. Running like a champ now
