Lost and Found

Clearing a clog in my MK3, one of the extruder springs jumped out. I could not find it anywhere (but my printing area needed cleaning anyway).

A couple of days after ordering a replacement, I found the missing spring stuck under a magnet on the heatbed. 😳

Re: Lost and Found

Back when they were expensive, I dropped a 16GB microSD card and it disappeared into my computer case. Years later, when I retired the computer, it fell out, now worth a fraction of what I'd paid. It's too slow to be useful even for printing. I'm convinced these things wait to spring up (pun intended) when they're no longer useful.

I did have a dropped hardened steel nozzle jump up onto the magnets under the printer bed. Fortunately, I saw its escape attempt and was able to hunt it down.
