Lithophane layers missing
Looking to get some advice as to where to go. When trying to slice lithophanes in Alpha 4 and 5 my preview will lose layers and skip so the print fails. See attached picture. When I slice it in 1.41.2 there is no issue. Should I report this or is there may be some settings I need to look at. I should also mention that slicing anything else in the Alphas has had no issue. Only issue is with the Lithophanes.
Re: Lithophane layers missing
Assume you have tried a non alpha, or a different slicer for comparison? That would narrow the issue down.
Re: Lithophane layers missing
Yes the second screenshot is from the older version of slic3r PE and that has no issues slicing. Only seem to have the issue with the alpha.
Re: Lithophane layers missing
oops didn't read the image comment. I would report it.
Re: Lithophane layers missing
Sorry for being ignorant about this but where would I go to submit this bug?

I made a report today because I encountered the same issue: https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r/issues/1869
Re: Lithophane layers missing
Workaround for now is import/export the stl in Meshmixer.
Re: Lithophane layers missing
Thanks. I also found that if I right clicked and had it repaired through netfab it corrected it as well.
Re: Lithophane layers missing
It was a regression issue, it was fixed with https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r/commit/c4829338453691371fc089d0aaf2cb9271417415
The fix will be part of the upcoming 1.42.0-beta
