Leaky Hotend

Hello,

I have a small problem with my MK3s. Looks like the hotend is slowly leaking plastic goo. Isn't a major problem yet, I just have to clean the head area more often. Do you guys have any ideas why ? I don't run my printer hard, I only have 41 days of printing in 10 1/2 months.

This is the original setup and initial calibration after assembly 10 and a half months ago. No problems at all. It runs and prints flawlessly. I just upgraded to the latest firmware a few days ago.

Thank you

Cornel

RE:

Your nozzle and headbreak are not installed correctly.  The nozzle is not supposed to be against the heat block.  Double click on the photo and it will illustrate the problem.

RE: Leaky Hotend

I fixed it. I took the hotend apart and I had to re-adjust heatbreak position. Weird.... I guess it slowly shifted up so distance between heating block and nozzle was incorrectly. This was the original hotend assembly from the factory with original nozzle(never replaced).

Thank you again for your help cwbullet & Diem
