LCD EPX2 Cable Cut
Help! Assembling the MK3S and discovered a cut in the LCD cable, about midway through.
Did not see an option for replacing cable, just whole LCD unit on eshop.
Would it be possible to replace or hack together a new one?

Its just ribbon cable. If you have the cable and the connectors you can just make a new one. Alternatively they can be purchased from ebay etc in various lengths pre-made.

Thanks! Went to Micro Center but can’t find cable long enough to work. Am currently trying to make own with ribbon cable and hacked connectors

So hacking the connectors was a bust. Pins would not embed into ribbon without warping. I'm guessing the cable is about 75cm? The other obstacle I ran into was not being able to find a premade cable that was as long as the original.
