Kit-Set up-LCD screen showing a bunch of H's and random symbols
I recently finished building my Prusa i3 mk3+ kit and when I plugged it in I immediately ran in to a problem with the firmware. When the unit is turned on, the opening screen appears, then immediately after it bugs out and alternates between a screen full of H's and a blur of text. When I reset while the blur of text is present, it became clear that the text are random prompts that appear naturally.
I've tried updating the firmware, the loading screen came up and the new firmware installed without issue, but right when the update is installed, the issue recommences. After a while it will return to the normal info screen, but when I try to calibrate the printer the issue starts up again preventing the printer from properly calibrating.
If anyone has any tips for me or has encountered this issue before any help would be great!

Check that both the cables are fully plugged into the lcd screen and control board if you haven't already. You could also try wiggling them with the printer on to see if it changes anything in case there is a loose connection.

@gunnerp
I have already tried both of your suggestions with no success. The LCD seems to be working fine, I think it has something to do with what it is receiving somehow. Whenever I reset it shows the load screen just fine, however when i do certain actions it will just bug out. I was even able to get a print out today, but I still run in to trouble.
