Just finished building, three show stopper errors... Help!

Hi, I just finished building my MK3s and I am getting two errors on startup.

One is that any time I move the control knob, I get an error that says "External SPI flash W25X20CL is not responding. Language switch unavailable.".

Second, when I click through (without moving the knob) the self test, I fail with this error: "Please check endstops Wiring error Z." According to the manual I checked my SuperPinda cable and it is connected properly.

I cannot find any suggestions on what to do!

I tried flashing firmware and got this error: "avrdude-slic3r: prusa_init_external_flash(): MK3 printer emitted incorrect start code: `W25X20`
avrdude-slic3r: arduino_open(): Failed to initialize MK3 external flash programming mode
avrdude-slic3r: Could not open port: /dev/cu.usbmodem14101"

Any help would be appreciated!

I would start with checking/reconnecting the cables for the lcd display.

I would very thoroughly check every single cable for correct wiring, particularly on the Einsy board.

I try to give answers to the best of my ability, but I am not a 3D printing pro by any means, and anything you do you do at your own risk. BTW: I have no food for…

Maybe you will find a hint here:

Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.

thank you for the ideas everyone! I completely disconnected all of the cables and reconnected which fixed the SuperPINDA endstop problem - Now I get past that step and there is a red light on the pinda!

Unfortunately still having the "External SPI flash W25X20CL is not responding. Language switch unavailable" error and now my selftest fails at "Axis Length Axis X"... The manual says that it has something to do with moving the print head, but my print head isnt moving during the self test!

Update:

Support says it is a bad board that is giving me the External SPI flash error.  New board sounds like it will take two weeks, bummer :(.

Hoping that fixes my Axis Length error too. Will report back.
