IR-Sensor Cable Issues

I was already having problems with my printer, and I did the selftest on my printer and it said "Filament sensor - wiring error" so I did a bit of research and a I think the IR-sensor cable is damaged but it doesn't look damaged can someone help me

wiring can suffer fatigue from constant flexing.

you could try stretching the wires to see where they broke... then repair them 

You can repair the Filament sensor wire in a similar way to the image above

I tried stretching the cable and i didn't see any broken spots.

use a test meter set to low ohms range to test each wire is connected from end to end.

i tried that and all the wires are good

the filament sensor wiring needs to be correctly installed, 
the top end is three wires

you may have a black PCB or a red PCB, and the connector clip should be on top.

the bottom connector can be on the wrong set of pins and it can be back to front, 

please make sure they are the correct way round!

I checked the orientation and it still is giving me the error.
