Interesting Print Issues After Hot End Swap Out and Firmware Upgrade
Recently I had to swap out my hotend with a new Full E3D V6 with a nozzle X because I had an issue with the previous one. I installed the new hotend and updated the firmware and now I am having some issues with layer quality and bad stringing. My Mk3 has a Bondtech BMG extruder and I have done all the calibrations and I am still having issues. I have my esteps for the extruder set to 830. Below is the way the layers start getting after it has been printer for a bit. Any ideas were to start looking.

Well I hadn't upgraded the firmware on my printer in quite sometime due to the fact it was working fine for me and I decided to upgrade my printer and it appears with the Bondtech BMG extruder the esteps is now 415 instead of 830 like it was set in my previous version of firmware so when I upgraded I never changed the esteps so it was over extruding by a lot 🙂
