Installation problems

I have a custom Windows 7 installation where the user directory exists in another drive.  This enables a quick image recovery when windows fails since the Wind0ws recovery doesn't work.

I get the following errors:

boost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: The system cannot find the path specified: "C:\Users\Users\BHaidacherboost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: The system cannot find the path specified: "C:\Users\Users\BHaidacherboost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: The system cannot find the path specified: "C:\Users\Users\BHaidacherboost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: The system cannot find the path specified: "C:\Users\Users\BHaidacherboost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: The system cannot find the path specified: "C:\Users\Users\BHaidacher

This is created through a Junktion:

mklink /J E:\Users D:\Users, hence the directory seems to be there but it is on another drive.

You seem to access the files in a hard way and not using the OS.

Any command prompts to finetune this?

RE: Installation problems

I am sorry, you seem to be on the wrong forum.

We deal here with the 3D printers made by Prusa. What product are you referencing?

Is the Prusa Slicer part of the deal?

I think I am in the correct forum. Prusa slicer does not work. Hence, can't use my new Prusa Printer

RE: Installation problems

There’s actually a Prusa slicer specific forum at the bottom, you have posted in the mk3 printer forum.  This is a peer to peer forum and I don’t think too many people will be able to help you with your custom configuration problem.
However you should raise an issue over on the Prusa slicer Github site at https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues where you are far more likely to get some useful feedback or help as the devs there check there.

RE: Installation problems

OK - nothing in your post referenced PrusaSlicer.

To get you going, use the samples on the SD card that came with your printer.

Any slicer will work; Cura is a popular one.

Make sure you download PrusaSlicer  from here: (And try downloading it again)
