Infill offset leaves a gap between border and infill

Hi everybody,

my printer prints gaps between border and infill of objects. It looks like part of the infill is shifted a little to the right. You can see that in the photos I attached below. The first picture shows batman as printed, the second one from the other side.

Benchy looked okay during printing - no vertical gaps. But as you can on pictures below there is some kind of layer shift or infill shift just in the middle of the Benchy. The front of it looks perfect.

The printer seems totally okay, no error codes, no sudden noises, no cracking - everything seems normal. Firmware is updated. If you have any suggestion please let me know.

Thanks!

Those sorts of issues are usually mechanical, not software.

With all layer shift problems the first thing to check is that your motor pulley grub screws are not loose.  They MUST be tightened with one perfectly perpendicular to the flat on the motor shaft and then the second one is then tightened to act as a jam screw.  If done properly this stops the first coming loose over time.  If not they work loose and can cause issues like you are seeing.  Its the most common cause.

Second check is belt tension.  You dont want loose belts.  Or too tight for that matter either.  Follow the instruction manual for belt tightness or print one of the tension meters out if you have prusa specific PETG for them (once you have sorted your current problems out naturally).

Third is axis ease of movement.  With the steppers off you should be able to move each axis easily and more importantly smoothly back and forth.  Don't move them fast as a motor is also a dynamo and you can generate current that backfeeds into the einsy board.  But they should move with no sticking and do the full travel.  If theres sticking then you would need to disassemble and lubricate the interior of the bearings.

Those are the most common things to check.
