I replaced the hotend. now the screen is unresponsive
Hi there. It is a while since i posted, because things were going so well!!
A little while ago while I was changing my nozzle, I managed to break the connectors to my hotend heater on my prusa i3 mark 3S+.
I ended up to replacing the entire unit by buying an assembled kit from e3d directly - a new hot end with all the electrics attached.
When I fitted them, I wired them into the Einsy board and proceeded to test to see whether things were working before I closed the door, wrapped up the cables and such like.
When I plugged it in and started to test if I could heat the hotend, the screen is unresponsive to rotation of the wheel, or pressing the X button. Pressing the wheel launches the menu, but as rotation is ignored, I can only return to the Info screen.
The hotend fan comes on as usual for 2 seconds. The PINDA probe light is on, and goes off when a metal object is brought near it.
Has anybody got any ideas what I might do to correct it, or what I might have done during the repair to cause this?
I attach 2 photos of the connections on the Einsy board that i just put in, for the thermistor and the heater.

Check the connections at both ends of the LCD cable in case you've dislodged it somehow.

Personally I'd say 1 of 2 things 1st yo caused a short on hotend Wich traveled to einsy and fried some pins on einsy or lcd or 2nd thing static charge went onto lcd and coincidence it did it during replacement of hotend either way you probably need new lcd

That was my cock-uo.
I had dislodged the connector at the Einsy for the screen. The inner one of the two.
No idea how I did that without noticing, but when I pushed it home, everything worked fine.
