how to have support generated only from bottom to top of hole

I have an enclosure with two square holes and I want to generate support for the holes but I only want the support to go from the bottom of the hole to the top where the support is needed. I have a support enforcer set only at the top of the hole.

When I slice, the support is generated from the build plate.

I have tried various combinations of settings but it always is as above, from the build plate.  It seems like this should be possible.

3mf file attachedsupport_test

I didn't look at the 3mf but I'm 99% sure your enforcer is too wide and overlaps the edges of the hole. So two options. Play with its thickness until you get the desired support. Or use paint on supports and draw a thin line along the middle of the top surface of the hole. Let me know if you can't get it to work and I'll take a look at the 3mf.

I removed the block enforcer and used paint support, being careful to not have it touch any edges and it worked perfectly.  I could have sworn I tried that before but I must have touched another surface somehow.

Thank you very much!
