Hotend Temperatur Offset after FW Update to 3.7.0

Hi,

  • After updating to 3.7.0 the Nozzle temperatur is lower as shown on display. Starting a temp tower 240 - 180 degrees i have to cancel it when the temp changes from 230 to 220 couse nozzle clogged. 240 and 230 looks good. I used the Original silver PLA sent with the MK3S-kit. Before updating i did a lot of prints with 215 degrees without any issue. PID Calibration does not help.

Please give me some information what to do next

Yes, I watched the same phenomenon. Now I must print about 20°C higher.

But I cannot confirm if this is firmware or hardware related, I updated my printer to a new extruder. Seems it is a software (firmware) bug aftert your post.

RE: Hotend Temperatur Offset after FW Update to 3.7.0

Here's what I'm observing, the two temperature towers were printed like a month apart, same filament, same g-code, same hardware. The one on the left is whatever the initial version on the MK3S was (3.5.1 I think), the one on the right is 3.7.0.

There are other variables of course, like ambient conditions and perhaps wear on the hotend, but still, is it possible that it's the software that's causing the difference?

OK, so at least in my case, it's not the software.

Out of curiosity, I downgraded to 3.5.3 and printed another temperature tower. It looks just like the one from 3.7.0 above.
