Hotend Heaterblocker E3D covered in Molton Filament MK3

I'm wanting to know if this heater blocker can be salvaged from the molten plastic that has built up without being noticed. Last week it started to let out drips and burn marks on prints then under investigation we realised this has happened. I've tried to heat to hottest temp and clean with wire brush but nothing comes off. Next step is to try and remove then heat with heatgun and try and clean or replace. If anyone knows if it's unsalvageable that would be great. Thank you.

I'd replace it personally

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

If the thread inside is clean there is nothing wrong with a dirty heaterblock.

But they are cheap parts, if it bothers you, replace it. It's not worth the effort of sanding all the carbon off.
