Hotend forcing reset on system
Hello, I'm trying to help my son figure out next steps. He was doing a long run and the machine clogged. We replaced the PTE tube and since then we've been chasing issues.
Upon doing the self test we get through everything until the Hotend check. Once that process starts, it reboots. If I try to Preheat it also reboots to the main screen.
Based on searches it looks like it could be bad power supply, which I doubt because the bed heats up. Or I need a new board.
Anyone have any other thoughts or things I should check? We purchased this pre-assembled last year and have only done 12 or so prints.
TIA, I'm not good at this and my son is 12 is a little stumped.

I'd get on the chat with Prusa Support. They can talk you through the troubleshooter steps to diagnose the issue and send parts if needed.

If you have a multimeter, I would check the internal thermistor and heater cartridge resistances. There may be a loose contact or short circuit in the leads.
