Hot end fan cooling parts

i have been trying to work out why since i got my printer i have struggled to print first layers and why when i do get a print its allways abit lifted in the left hand side untill i moved my printer to my pc desk to sit with it i found out the "suction" of that fan is moving "cold" air over the left hand parts cooling it causing all my problems how can i fix this ?

RE: Hot end fan cooling parts

can you be more specific? did you pass successfully through XYZ calibration and first layer calibration according to the Prusa manuals?

any picture of the issue would be valuable. the cold air is necessary to make your model solid, the natural cooling by surrounding air is not sufficient. and what is the real issue? adhesion?

what is the size of the model, what filament did you use etc. any additional detail counts.

even an old man can learn new things 🙂

RE: Hot end fan cooling parts

im printing a small 1 inch startrek ship out of prusment pla the stuff that come free with the printer the fan on the left side sucks air in over the hot end fins and i allways have lifting on the left side like its shrinking at an uneaven rate causing lifting after trying my best to stop it and sticking my finger on the part to try and smooge it back down i felt the cold are flowing over my hand at that time my room was at about 20-21C

if i get lucky and it dosent lift too much before its done with the first layer it prints ok other then the part lifting off the bed on the left making ane part warped at the bottom left
