Hot end does not heat

For my MK3 I bought a new pre-assembled hotend. It was just delivered and I put it in place. But it does not heat.
The previous was damaged when I tried to disassemble it after a filament clot. However, it still heated.

I did some checks and steps:
- The heatbed heats. The temperature sensors of heatbed shows reasonable values.
- So does the temp sensors of the hotend. It indicates room temperature.
- I checked all connections, all fine.
- I flashed latest firmware 3.4.1 and did the preheat again.
No change. The hotend stays cold. After a while the display indicates a PREHEAT ERROR.

What else can I try?
Any idea?

Hi,
is the new hotend from Prusa? If so, please contact the support via live-chat at shop.prusa3d.com

Re: Hot end does not heat

Hi,
checked with the support and meanwhile received a replacement heat cartridge. Still I have the same issue: the hotend remains cold.
What else could I check to see where the problem is? How can I reliably check to see whether there is power for the hotend?
Is there any element on the logic board that I could check?
Thanks for advice.

Hi Neal,
good point. One of the two 5 fuses is gone.
I'll order and check again.
Thx,
Gerd
