Heatbed failing?
I've been using my MK3 since early January without issue and producing beautiful prints. I updated my firmware today and it kept giving me BED PREHEAT ERROR. So I tried to recalibrate it, and the bed calibration fails with a thermistor error. I used an IR temperature gun to measure the bed without the steel sheet on. I get some highly variable results:
@ 47C on the screen the bed measures
Front: 115C
Back: 111C
Center: 43C
Right: 49C
Left: 49C

I Double checked that the thermistor connection was fully seated and that the cable wasn't damaged and that the thermistor was properly seated against the heatbed under the kapton taape
