FW 3.9.3 stability
I recently built my MK3S+ and it is working beautifully. It came installed with FW 3.9.2 which works well and is stable. I wanted to upgrade when I saw that FW 3.9.3 is available, but over on the GitHub site for the firmware, there is an issue about a FW 3.9.3 instability:
[BUG]Flashing 3.9.3 to MK3S fails · Issue #2954 · prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware (github.com)
I wanted to ask in this forum if any members have experienced any issues with 3.9.3 on a MK3S+ while or after upgrading. Some of the issues were specifically on recent MK3S+ kits, so I don't want to take chances trying to flash the FW. Any confirmations would be appreciated.
RE: FW 3.9.3 stability
When something goes wrong, you can go back to 3.9.2 easily. So just test it and see what happens.
RE: FW 3.9.3 stability
Updated fine for me as well. Upgraded to MK3S+ parts, reset firmware to factory and reran the wizzard. All good. I did find that my Live Z is now lower (more negative) than before, but nothing wrong with that in itself. I did try putting the pinder slight higher up, but that then caused the nozzle to hit the bed during XYZ calibration. I suspect this is more an issue with differences between the PINDAv2 and the SuperPINDA which I swapped too than the firmware though.
RE: FW 3.9.3 stability
I have the same problems with my mk3s as described on github.

RE: FW 3.9.3 stability
@All, thanks for your feedback. I've updated my MK3S+ to 3.9.3 and the process went fine and the printer is performing as usual. Calibration was preserved as well, so all is normal and as it was on 3.9.2

@snympi
Good to know. If you have problems, make sure you put them on GitHub to help the DEVs.
