First successful Prusa logo print! / Request for suggestions to improve print quality

I completed assembly of my MK3S kit on Monday and have spent several hours performing every possible configuration/calibration that came on the SD card. The calibration and tuning of the z value was quite frustrating as a total 3d newb, but I finally have a successful print to present. I have not touched any printing software beyond what came on the card, so I would really appreciate your feedback and suggestions on how I can further improve print quality before I move onto further software tuning.

[NOTE TO FELLOW NEW USERS: RUN EACH AND EVERY CALIBRATION BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PRINT AND TAKE THE TIME TO PERFECT THE LIVE Z VALUE WITH THE FIRST LAYER CALIBRATION! THIS PRINT FAILED HALF A DOZEN TIMES FOR ME BEFORE I COMPLETED ALL THE CALIBRATIONS!!!]

Show us your Live Z calibration circle.

Z looks too high to me from your bottom shot. Filament should blend into a continuous surface.

Your layer 1 is too high; Live-Z needs to be more negative.

Print this cal patch, it is large enough you have time to make several adjustments; you want to adjust Live-Z so the pad is a solid wafer of plastic, no gaps or threads as it is pulled off the print bed.

Thank you very much for the advice. I sliced that circle file (first time I've ever done that too), and printed it. I went from an original -.400 z value to -.580 as my final sweet spot. At -.600 the final infill of the corner of the circle began to overlap, so I backed it back up a tad and viola, I got that nice masking tape removal with a silky smooth underside. I reprinted the prusa label and the underside feels like butter. I think from here I'm going to have to tinker with the slicer settings. This community has really made getting into 3D printing far less painful than I anticipated, and I appreciate yall 🙂

As you start to expand and do more things, keep in mind the default PLA print settings are pretty darned good.  It's rare I change anything other than infill.  PETG needs a bit more tweaking - some filament brands seem temperamental.  And I've avoided ABS due to the smell and VOC's it gives off (ABS is not pet friendly).  And the more you slice and play with models, the easier it gets to see problems before they start.
