First layer defects / blobs / artefacts - Not sure why

Hey Everyone, Im not sure why im getting these blobs on my first layer, I cant see the head digging into the layer and scooping the layers up it almost seem its extruding to much in these random spots ?? Also the second image is later on, is this bad bed adhesion where its come unstick or maybe I need to lower the nozzle closer to the bed?

Interesting, I've been getting the same thing starting today after months of successful prints.

BTW: how did you embed the pictures, there's no option for that for me, on desktop using chrome.

okay that button for add media only works 10% of the time, but now it does.

Look again, those spots are not random, those are fingerprint patterns ...  look up threads here about bed cleaning.

@trev-5 - your first layer Z calibration is already a fraction low, don't go lower.

@wcndave - I don't know which filament you are using or what that is smeared on the textured build sheet but if it is necessary you are using too much, it should be spread thinly and evenly with the help of a little solvent, usually water.  Thoroughly clean the build sheet before adding it.  Check the requirement at: https://help.prusa3d.com/filament-material-guide

Hey Diem,

Thanks for there response and I cleaned the bed and the second round had better adhesion, but I still had filament blobs on in random places, where I have to cut these with a pare of wire cutters either wise when the second pass comes alone its going to have a crash detection as they stick up from the bed.

The photo below is of the 2nd attempt and the mid way doing the 3rd layer and the machine works well, even on this second attempt I had what I assume to be over extrusion in random places on the first layer only.

Pictures haven't got though ... try again but this time include two of your hotend/nozzle assembly from different angles.
