Please tell me I don't have to step this FW version by version

We can't tell you anything unless you post details as to what is going wrong/error messages, etc.

Yea Sorry-

Fixed this by uninstalling PS and the usb driver it installed, then re-installed everything and it pickedup the printer perfectly.
